Voor Elpress in Boxmeer draaide de energievraag vooral om één praktisch punt: hoe benut je de zonnestroom die je overdag opwekt, maar op dat moment niet direct nodig hebt?
Tijdens de zoektocht werd al snel duidelijk dat een standaard batterij niet paste.

We slaan onze stroom die we ‘over’ hebben nu overdag op in de batterij en we komen er precies de nacht mee door. We ontlasten het stroomnet, én benutten zelf maximaal onze opgewekte stroom.”
